If you are considering having concrete work done in the Vallejo-Benicia area, look no further than Elizalde Construction LLC. After contacting and/or interviewing 4 other reputable local concrete contractors, I met with Kyle Elizalde to discuss the demolition of our root-shattered old concrete patio, as well as equally root-damaged pathway connecting it to the driveway at our new home in Benicia, by his company, Elizalde Construction LLC. And boy, am  I glad I kept looking, because Kyle and his team delivered an absolutely flawless, on-time, on-budget, no-surprises end result, with  a process that was so professionally managed from start to finish, that what had started to become a drawn-out, stressful search became an easy, pleasant collaboration between owners and contractor in which clear communication, a perfectly drafted scope of work/project proposal, and a price that was absolutely right down the middle of 5 competing bids, carried the day.
Kyle himself was personable, straightforward in clarifying project details, and very swift both in responding to my initial phone call to meet, as well as in providing a thoroughly detailed bid for our project. He was similarly quite flexible in making changes to the original proposal, after more research led us to change a few key details about our originally envisioned project, providing helpful responses to our questions and candid views about some of our research findings with which he disagreed, particularly as regards stamped versus traditional poured concrete. The process felt like a cooperative partnership from the outset, which is an optimal working relationship in my opinion. Kyle also possesses a flair for elegant design, with an aesthetic for the finished project which is both understated and minimalist.
Kyle's team was similarly impressive in their skills at demolition, site preparation and concrete pouring and shaping.It is clear that they have worked together over many years, with each member handling his role with speed and precision, under his foreman Rigo's watchful supervision. Crew members Cesar and Benny worked tirelessly to prepare the site for the pour date and the results were flawless, while his dad Jim provided logistical support each day to keep the project on time and within the budget. We enjoyed having the whole team on the property every day, ad when the project was complete they left the place absolutely immaculate.
From start to finish, Elizalde Construction LLC brought its A game to our hardscape restoration project, and I would never work with anyone else on future such projects. Both thumbs WAY UP.

Elizalde Construction did an exceptional job on our concrete project from start to finish. What began as a complete demolition turned into a beautifully finished driveway and walkway, and the entire process was handled with professionalism, precision, and care.

Their crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. The demolition was done cleanly and safely, the site was well organized throughout the project, and the concrete pour and finishing were impressive to watch. You can tell this is an experienced team that takes pride in their work - the final result is smooth, clean, and dramatically improved the look of our home.

Communication was solid throughout, the crew was respectful of the property and neighborhood, and the job site was left clean when they were done. It’s rare to see this level of coordination and craftsmanship anymore, but Elizalde Construction absolutely delivered.

We engaged Elizalde Construction - Concrete Contractor to completely replace and expand our driveway. At every step of the way, from initial discussions, planning, scheduling and doing the demolition and the final build of this project, Kyle and his team did a wonderful job! We further engaged the team to build a small retaining wall which Kyle and his team completed in great time. The crew worked hard and the whole project was started and completed in the time we were told. At all time during the project it was very apparent how thorough, the team worked together. We used Elizalde Construction to get our driveway repaved. We met with Kyle to get an estimate (which was fairly priced and straight forward) and he was extremely helpful in answering all of questions; from the beginning we felt very confident in his expertise. He made some suggestions to make the driveway look more visually appealing while still keeping its structural integrity. His team is extremely talented and very professional; they are extremely detail oriented and made sure everything looked perfect. My husband and I are extremely pleased with how our driveway turned out and we are looking forward to working with them on future projects. Elizalde construction did a fantastic job in our backyard. They worked with us to make sure our yard turned out exactly how we visualized it. They were efficient, responsive and reliable.
